Simulacrum is based not on fact but on fantasy –no basis in reality. While some see the face of an angel, saint, or monk others see the face of the divine creator. It is the same effect that causes one to think that they see a recognizable human form or shape in the ecto fog images or a face in the middle of an orb photo or window reflection still image. Dear Lori:

My husband and I have a nature retreat in Vermont, 52 acres and very private. We have managed to clear out five beautiful nature trails in this heavy wooded area, taking pictures always to see what we have done.

This is burning the dead wood we have cleared on trail two near our 4 acre beaver pond. As you will see this job had us working into the night. adding the last dead spruce fir branches in our burn pile the fire burst, getting the last picture of our progress of the day.

"For Centauries many pagan people believed certain wood placed in a certain way would call up our Ancestors. This looks like to me the Face of the Goddess or God or fairy folk, depending on which way you believe. It is a Ancient belief that we come from the land and we return to the land so this face also could be a face of a Ancestor of either Indians or the person who owns the property. Always remember ones suppression is always someone's religion. Now to add to this.. When I was younger quite young in fact way back in the early 60's my Grove (Coven) Called on the Fire Spirit it appeared like a Dragon in the fire but once again with natural occurrences and with a belief in the Supernatural or as we Witches believe is natural, things appear in Flames or water or Earth or even in the Air. "

It is a face of a person looking to his left. I burn lemons whenever I do a cleansing to see the image or profile of the person that is doing me harm. The harm might be intentional or not. I burn them on top of the stove. After several days, burning a lemon a day, I will see the image of whomever is doing me harm. It is an old Mexican tradition sort of like cleansing from the Evil Eye.
