There are innumerable sources for orb manifestations: Orbs
are caused by
dust, pollen, moisture, fog, rain, smoke, "electronic
pixel glitches," ambient geomagnetic energy discharge (earth energy), static
discharge, and RARELY ghosts. In the
past, everyone made a BIG deal out of photographing orbs. I remember the
day I attended a new age lecture on ghosts and the speaker showed us a slide
show of various orbs. He claimed one orb was "Aunt Betty" and another orb
was "Grandpa Timothy" and so on. I found the whole idea to be
extremely funny. The speaker really needed a REALITY check.
Betty and Timothy were dust and pollen, plain and simple. Now the
popular way to prove the existence of a ghost is with very clear and
provable EVP or seeing furniture moving by invisible forces on video or a
full body apparition.
(Singular "Simulacrum")--Pronunciation:
"sim-y&-'la-kr&m,--a Latin (simulare) term which means likeness. Is it a real image, or imagined? Simulacrum is based not
on fact but on fantasy –no basis in reality. While some see the face of an angel,
saint, or Monk others see the face of the divine creator. It
is the same effect that causes one to think that they see a recognizable human form or
shape in the ecto fog images or a face in the middle of an orb photo or window reflection
still image. The human brain is continually looking for significant visual patterns.
Unfortunately simulacrum may convince us that we see "something" in an photo
anomaly that is in reality random, as in the orb or fog images in AlienUFOart.com
ghost galleries.
Having a fascination
about Chicago land Indians of long ago, I sat in my car looking
into the forest when I saw 2 "Cloud-type" orbs moving in tandem
about 7 feet off the ground! They disappeared shortly thereafter
however! About the size of a large head, one was larger and
darker, while the other was smaller, lighter in transparency and
slightly lower than the "Cloudier" one! Funny thing is that I
recently wondered why So-called ghost apparitions seemed always
to be inside! I thought that "Visions" should be outside as
well! What do you think? This occurred about the beginning of
October 2006!

Hi Thomas,
Most people
don't have the ability to see orbs with the physical eye.
Only with the use of a camera can we capture orbs. I have a
photo on my website of an apparition that was taken in
daylight.

I admit
that ghosts are seen “inside” 90% of the time.
Orbs exists
inside and outside with equal clarity, but it is far easier
to see an orb inside because the environment is more quite,
less wind, noise, moisture, dust and the senses are more
acute inside. The perception is far better for seeing a
ghost inside a home.

I don't think the orb phenomena is completely black and white. If
you are questioning the validity of your orb images (ghost/spirit orbs) in association
with hauntings, try backing them up or confirming them with EVP recordings,
high EMF readings, paranormal low or high thermal readings, still orb photography
and digital orb photography plus and most important, haunting reports from numerous
witnesses and haunting activity. (Voices,
screams, lights turning on and off, witnessing an apparition, strange odors, cold spots,
seeing shadows and or mists, things moving around in the middle of the night without a
reasonable explanation etc...) Hauntings can be associated with a magnetic field and this
can cause a compass needle to sometimes point at the spot that shelters a ghostly
presence. As hard as I might try the study of orbs is not an exact science. The most
important way to confirm a haunting is with EVP.
Note: 9 times out of 10, orbs are caused by dust.

information needed to make a 100% determination as to the source of your orb photo.
As you can see, they can even be reflections on glass or lens occlusions causing internal
light refraction. They can be manipulated or faked in PhotoShop or other computer
art programs. NOTE: If you need an investigator/photographer to
attempt to capture your paranormal activity with EVP recording, still photos, or video

Orbs
seem to break down into these possible categories:
ORB CAUSED BY A HAUNTING:
Anomalous or unexplained energy caught on film usually in association with a haunting,
high EMF readings, & cold spots. They range in a variety of size colors with the most
common color being white. They appear bubble shaped and are usually spherical. TUBE:

sometimes described as a vortex. It appears like a white or black tube in photos.
Known man-made Cybernetic
Anthropomorphic Machine Systems (CAMS) devices that levitate and can perform
security, surveillance and interdiction activities by remote control and are being tested
as a special access program by the U.S military. These volleyball-sized mechanical globes
are silvery but give off a faint orange plasma glow as they fly around. Inside, they have
highly energized electromagnetic coils, external sensors geared for electromagnetic and
sound, even pencil-thin lasers for targeting.
Alien mechanical orbs that are self-guided and are
self-contained integrated remote sensor devices, some able to manipulate energies and may
be the source of some crop circles. Some researchers have coined these as BBAMS
devices—Biomemnetic/Biomimetic Anthropomorphic Machine Systems—And may be of
alien origin.
Ghost orbs or the physical,
recordable energy of a haunting. Living energy matrixes that may contain the personalities
of persons or beings originating here on earth who no longer have physical bodies. This
could include samples of "Ectoplasm." Please back up the orb photos with EVP
recordings to be sure they are true ghost orbs.
Plasma energy or "Ball
lighting" as examples of the fourth state of matter in nature. Several scientists
have proffered the amazing theory that ball lighting may in fact be living essences or
"Life forms." Another theory suggests that aliens can control and manipulate
pure plasma as a tool or sensing device. Some say that ghosts can agitate the molecules in
the air as they pass through, causing plasma to form and even be controlled by the energy
of their force of will. It has been described in some cases as blue ball lightening.
Important: Orbs can be
caused by dust, pollen, moisture, fog, rain, smoke, and
true hauntings, and natural earth energy.
